Thanksgiving

Although thanksgiving for me will always be in October, who can say no to another celebration.  Theresa and I had a great (American) Thanksgiving, and I would like to take this time to list a few things for which I am thankful (in no particular order)

Theresa – this goes without saying, she is my everything.

All of our friends here in Charlottesville – its great that we can have such a great feast while being so far from home

Family, of course – you were all greatly missed yesterday (and maybe even more so back on Canadian thanksgiving)

That I am not more sore than I am after playing 3 hours of Football yesterday – I had a great time playing in our ward’s Turkey Bowl

My job – in these trying economic time, it is great to know that I will have a place to work when I graduate – and a place that I enjoyed so much last summer

Christmas – as horribly commercial as it is, you just can’t not love Christmas

Great Music – look for my favorite albums of this year, coming soon to this blog

President (Elect) Obama – check out this great piece about how Obamania is justified

Canada – it our home and native land.  Even though it may just be -30 degrees when we go home for Christmas, I can’t wait

Amazon.com – shopping online sure takes away a lot of the hassle in Christmas.  And there is no risk of trampling.

Fanny – When we were about to get married, we procrastinated buying a car until the very last second.  So, in one day, we looked up used cars for sale in the area, found one and bought it at a very reasonable price.  Fanny is now 10 years old has driven across the continent twice, and has given us no trouble (well, practically no trouble)

Google – not only is it keeping my future law firm busy, but it is just about the most useful tool there is.  Whenever we have a question about anything, google always gives us the answer in seconds.

Theresa just came in, and would like to mention something she is thankful for:

Randal

My brown coat

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
